Does DNA die with an organism?

Question

Does DNA die with an organism?

Answer

DNA is not really alive in the first place. It's just a molecule. So, yes, it will degrade (unless frozen) over time, but it doesn't really make sense to say that it dies because it was never really alive in the first place.
