Question

How far does the thunder-bomber paper airplane fly?

Answer

It could be fun to experiment with it (you can find plans at www.instructables.com/id/Paper-Aeroplane-Thunder-Bomber/)! The Thunder Bomber paper airplane isn't for especially long-distance flying though. A good Thunder Bomber will probably fly around 10 meters but don't take me word for it, experiment with it yourself On the other hand, if you are interested in making a paper airplane that flies as far as possible, your best bet is to try some 'glider' models. For example here are some instructions for a few glider airplanes: kudlit.hubpages.com/hub/5-Long-Distance-Glider-Paper-Airplanes. If you can make them fly around 30 meters, you could be on your way to contend for a world record! As for real airplanes... the distance record is 41,467 km by pilot Steve Fossett. His record-breaking flight took him 3 days in 2006.
