The first annual symposium series held at the University of Windsor will present exciting and relevant aspects of science and technology to students in grades 11 and 12. This year's symposium will cover the basics of cancer biology, oncology, and ethics surrounding the study of cancer and its treatment. Students will learn about the cutting-edge cancer research happening in Windsor-Essex, and interact with cancer researchers and medical professionals who treat cancer patients in our region. Learning experiences will consist of hands-on activities, short seminars, break-out discussion sessions, and lab tours.
